Yosemite National Park
Yos-eee-might. You are so gorgeous. Love at first site (yeah that was intended). Although it was less than 9 months ago that I saw you, you look so different, you act so different, yet you are still so beautiful. It's one of those infatuations that never ends.
My plan started out with three nights penciled in for Yosemite but quickly turned into six. After standing in the Camp 4 line for an hour I decided to make it worth my time and book the three extra nights. There isn't a place on the planet where I sleep better than Yosemite.
Nabbing a spot in Camp 4 meant I was out of the van and back in the tent though. Although the tent has been used in Hawaii and other parks this year it was still hanging onto the Camp 4 tag from just last August when Whitney and I vacationed here. Isn’t that tent just so eco-sexy? (She doesn’t have a name yet btw)
I do not have many words about Yosemite. It is more of an experience and a feeling type of place, one of those places that virtually reality can’t mimic. El Cap, Half Dome, Glacier Point, Sentinel Rock, Three Brothers and many, many more rock formations are spread throughout the park just awaiting your admiration.
Get out there and see it for yourself before all of California slides off into the ocean!
