Grand Teton National Park
It was a real privilege to be able to visit the Grand Tetons in two contrasting seasons. Earlier this year we (Kristin, Jonas and myself) were able to walk out onto the frozen lake. This time around I was unable to get out that far without a boat. (maybe I should have strapped a boat on top of Dee?
The snow plow that seemed as though it was 100 years old, decommissioned, and stranded on the side of the trail was indeed mobile. Dee filled in for the absent snow plow this time around.
All and all I think I gotta give the nod to the snowy season. The snow freaks me out to have to drive on but it reflects all the light so uniquely for your viewing pleasure. Maybe it’s the clouds that were out the snowy day that makes those photos more special to me. What do you think?
Oh but dat pano doe. Oooooof. That water looks so alive.
